MOTOR-CYCLING.
BEACH RACES AT NEW BRIGHTON. On Saturday afternoon three motor-cycle races vezo decided on the bea&h. at North New Brighton, under the auspices of the Pioneer Club. There was an unusually large attendance of the public, who watched the racing with interest. The beach was in very fair condition at the southern end of the course, but rather soft at the northern end, but the times put up were good. The races were very late hi starting, and the last result was not announced until about halfpa«jt fivo. The results were as follows: — FIVE MTT/K MAIDEN HANDICAP. (6 entries.) J. Man tell (3i h.p.
