RED CROSS SALES DEPOT.

- The week-end eaJa of homo-mode foodstuffs, et-c., -win bo held at. the Depot, nest G.P.0., this evening and to-morrow morning. . The sale will be in charge of the ladies of the Bedcliffe Bed Cro3a Branch. Besides the usual largo supplies of oaiee pies, and other delicacies, there will be on offer spring flowers, poultry, lamb, mutton, bacon; eggs, fruit, vegetables, jams, chutney, etc. The eum of £1 lis has been received from Mrs.K. Shoobridge, being the proceeds of the eale .of a drossing-gown made by her. The Sales Depot has, this week, sent to London out of its funds the sum of £2000, to be psed for the benefit of our wounded 6oldiere; £1500 has bewn eent to the British Red Cross Society, and £500 to the New Zealand "War Contingent Association.
