Mr Dillon, urging the necessity for the quick settlement of the martial law question and other matters connected with the rebellion, said that He was not sanguine as to the result of Mr Lloyd George's mediation, but no responsible Irishman would say anything to increase the great difficulties confronting Mr Lloyd George.
