ATTEMPT ON HIS LIFE.
(By Cable.—Pr«ss Association.—Copyrigut.) NEW YORK. May 30. As Mr Roosevelt was motoring to deliver a speech in Kansas City, in favour of Army and Navy preparedness, a knife whizzed past him, apparently flxm? by an onlooker in the crowd. The knife struck the rear of the motor car, and was found in the street afterwards. Mr Roosevelt was unaware of the incident.
