Tho Canterbury Flying Club flew the last race of tho 1915-1G season on Saturday list, from Culverden, S3 birds being liberated by t lie Btttticmmnster at 12.15 p.m. Tbe winning bird, the property of j-\ Kibblowliite, flew the. distance of RO miles 1560 yards in 2hr3 osec, a velocity per minute of Po2ydsl Tlio following alfo limed-in birds:—Cedric Kirkley, flTlyds 2; A.. C. Gerard, 671 yd?, rs; J. Milne, 663 yds ; F. Wilson, S63vds; H. Browning, 819vds; R. Ashworth. 821 yds. Mr I\. Ashworth wins the« Dr. Savape M&morinl Cup. presented by 3lr B. J. "Finnegau to be competed for in tho Auckland to Christchurch Tace. M r . R. Ashworth also wuw the valuable trophy presented by Mr E. England "for the best average in old-bird races for the soa«ou. Mr H. Browning wins the valuable Brown and Stewart trophy, competed for in the long-distance race from Hicks's Bay, a distance of 523 miles The youiif? bird average has been won by Mr F. Kibblewhite, who performed the "hat trick," winning three races in succession.
