CANTERBURY LAW SOCIETY.
ANNUAL MEETING
At the annual meeting of the Canterbury District Law Society, Mr H. D. Andrews, president, occupied the chair. The following officers wore elected lor the ensuing year:—President, Mr M. Donnelly; vice-president, Mr S. G. Raymond, K.C.; hon. treasurer, Mr G. H N. Helmore (re-elected); hon. secretary Mr F. W. Johnston (re-elected); Council, Messrs J. A. Cassidy, H. J. Beswick, G. D. Pascoe, J. J. Dougall, and F. K. Hunt. Messrs S. G. Raymond, K.C., teo. Harper, and H. D. Andrews were elected the Society's representatives on the Council of the New Zealand Law Society. , , A special rote of thanks was passed to Mr Andrews for his work as P'' cs '- dent during the past two and a halt yc&i'Si ■» In passing the annual report, the Society placed on record its appreciation of the sacrifice made by .the following members of the nrofession who have enlisted for service Messrs G. T. Weston. F. S. Wilding K. S. "Williams, H. H. Hanna, A. W. Bishop, A. C. Champney, and C. A.. Stringer. In addition to the above, Mr A. T. Donnelly has since enlisted.
