Thomas, in an interview, said that by the spring France would possess a colossal reserve of munitions. The Allies are hastening their output of inanitions to the utmost. 31. Briand, French Prime Minister, in an interview, said he was hopeful of securing the serious support of Italian statesmen in bringing their joint work to a successful issue, and establishing closer and more fruitful cooperation between the Allies.
