. , KAIAPOI. [ At the. quarterly meeting of the Kaiapoi Methodist Church there was a fair attendance., The Rev. P. W. Fairdough. superintendent of the circuit, presided. The balance-sheet was adopted. Tho mission collections were as follows:—Foreign, £45 Os 3d arid £'8 8s 3d (a special effort) ; and home, £48 9s 3d. A letter of sympathy was directed to be sent to Mr r. si. Ward in his-illness. Messrs T. B. Ward and J. H. Blackwell were electcd circuit stewards, tho latter to represent the. circuit at the conference, with Mr R. Evans as deputy. Votes of thani-s to Mr G. A. Ellen for special sen-ices and to the other officers were carried. - i — I
