Seaward Spot and Cuirassier finished in the places behind George Berlin. Desert Gftld will be a starter in the Wellington' Stakes at Trentham next Saturday. Mr G. M. Currie's two-year-old filly,Taquisara, by King Rufus—Moira Ma Chrce, was beaten three-quarters of a lengths in the Nursery Handicap at the Tattcrsall's Club Races on January Ist. Another .of Mr Currie's breeding. La Penna, was only half a head away from the winner of the Pace Welter "at the same fixture. G. Scobie had the mount on Artillery Bill, the winner of the January Steeplechase, nt the V.R.C. Raccs. on New Year's Day. •
