' BOUGHT AND PAID FOR." "Bought and Paid For" was repeated last night by the Muriel Starr Company at the Theatre lloyal before a large and appreciative audience. "Bought and Paid For" will be played again to-night, and to-morrovy it will be staged for the last time. • "NOBODY'S 'WIDOW." On Saturday Miss Muriel Starr" will be seen in comedy, when "Nobody's Widow" will l>e produced. "Nobody's i Widow" is described as an up-to-dato i comedy more nearly on the lines of | writers like Pincro than anything else j that has emanated from New York, and has recently been most successfully .received in Sydney and Melbourne. Miss Starr will appear as Roxana Clayton, a bright and independent Americari | girl, Mr Charles Millward as the Duke of Morelan'd, alias Mr Clayton, and Miss Nellie Bramley will play Roxana's greatest friend, Betty Jackson. Tho pieco will ba played for three nights. WIRTH'S CIRCUS. There were present at the performance by Wirth's Circus at the Colosseum last night a largo number of returned soldiers, the guests of the management. The men took a very keen interest in the performance, and highly enjoyed the large number of first-class item's presented. Captain Huling's seals, tho performing lions, the novelty scena bv the "Wirth Family, the thrilling somersault riding by Miss May Wirth, the ba r performances by the Loretta Twins, and the other cxccllent turns all came in for hearty and prolonged applause. Tho performance will ba repeated this evening. A matinee was held yesterday afternoon, when the Colosseum was crowded, and the youngsters spent a delightful time. Another matinee will be given on Saturday afternoon. GRAND THEATRE. There will be a change of programme at the Grand Theatre to-day, when a varied and lengthy series of pictures will b© shown.
