Coi reswas. read irom tne lunger, asking tho Council to supplement the driving fees to allow him to give more time to tho work.—To be informed the Council will favourably consider the application when the work is more emcientlv done, as at the present time there is a la rye quantity of stock wandering about the roads of the county. From tho Hospital Board. regarding appointment of a new member in the place of Mr Scctt (resigned). The chairman was requested to represent the Council. From Tai Tapu Dairy Company. electrical department, warning consumers of the danger of connecting any electrical apparatus without first obtaining tho written consent of the company.—Received. From I'etono Borough Couucil, forwarding resolution with reference to the dependents of soldiers. —Received. From Mr C. Mulcock, offering to purchase Council's freehold, part It.S. 3629. It was resolved ta sell if the offer was satisfactory. From the Minister of Agriculture, forwarding "Gazette" notice of plants declared noxious weeds.—Received. Mr M. Barrett interviewed tho Council relative to a dam placed across Burke's main drain, depriving him of water. —The clerk to give the offender notice to rc*m6ve the obstruction.
