THE QUESTION OF NEUTRALITY. AUSTRO-GERMAN THREATS. (Received December 2nd, 7.20 p.m.) LONDON. December 1. The Rome correspondent ot the ■'Daily News'' says Greece has notified tho Allies that their demands that G retire sJiould evacuate Saloniea, and that the Allies should assume the surveillance of the coast, are not acceptable, a> they practically amount to a violation of Greece's neutrality. Tho correspondent says Grecces hesitation is due to the Austrian and German threats that the territory occupied bv the Angio-French troops will bo considered euemv territoiv if Grceco accedes to the Allies' demands. ("Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services.) LONDON, December 1. The Greek Socialists are not participating in the elections, on the grounds that the Government policy is undermining the Constitution.
