DOMINION DAY TOURNAMENT. Thf Linwood Lawn Tennis Clab held a Dominica. l>s.y tournament yesterday afternoon. A very large number of members took part, *nd all tb» six court* «•!« in action throughout the afternoon. The fixture was ran on tbo lines of a Y»nk«e loarMment, mixed doubles being plsjwd and partners and court* changed each round. Six Tounda were played, and th« winner among tbo m«n vu P. E. Webb, who aoond tbe pc+oiblc, 180. Other loading' score® were:— Ixmjhnan 170, Linrry 178, BranVard 17®. The top eoorccs among th» lasliem ware Mien E. Borrows 117, Mias X«ii* 147. At tbo close of the tonrnament tbe prisea •were preeented to tbo winnw® by Mr 3. Hulchina, and a hearty Toto of thanks wa* accorded tlw» bon. Becrctarr of the club, Mr S. D. Donton, who stood out of all game© in ortUr to giro his undivided attention to the complicated work of keeping tbe round* going •with tho minimum of delay.
