GOLDEN SHORE ARRIVES.
After an uneventful passage of fifty-eight daya, the American four-masted schooner Golden Shore arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Gray's Harbour (Pacific Slope). Th« vessel took her departure at the end of May, and mads a smart run. ae far a* tho East Capo m forty days. A- south-west gale was then experienced, changing subsequently to a succession of north-wcet gales. The Golden Shoro was about sixty miles off Lyttelton a week ago, but through lack oi a favourable wind could not got clcee enough to be towed into port until yesterday morning. She brings a cargo of about 775.000 feet of redwood and Ohio and Oregon nine, and is to tho agency of the Jarrah Timber Company. On completion of discharge ahe will probably go across to Newcastle. Captain Henrick6©n, who is in command, ie making hi« first visit to "these shores, and has his wife and family on board. His officers aro Mr O. C. Gaardcr chief and Mr H. E. Davis second.
