There was a vanling -omewhnt smaller than last week, and on the whole it was of a mixed description. There was a rather larger proportion of wethers than at recent sales, and the demand, as for other classes was keen, values being about Is per head, above recent rates. The hoggets were ; mostly inferior sorts, but the competition showed.a distinct improvement, whilst for ewe; then- was keen enquiry, all sort* selling well.
