CAPTAIN E. G. FRASER.
Cable advice ha« been received from Alexandria by Mrs Eraser, Ascot avenue. Re'rmicra, Auckland, that her husband. Captain K. G. Eraser. 3rd Auckland Infantry Company, who was reported on Juno loth to have been wounded a second time, is making good progress towards recovery. Somo anxiety has been caused among tho friends of Captain Fraser by a statement in a letter written by" a soldier that he had died. On May 4th it was announced that Captain Fraser had been wounded, and recently ft was reported that ho had returned to the front on June 3rd. It is therefore apparent that a mistake was mado by the writer .of tho letter.
