SUSPICIOUS CABLES.
SYDNEY, June 26. The military authorities warn the public regarding cables from alleged soldiers in Egypt asking for money. Numbers have been received asking for considerable sums of money, and this has aroused suspicion. It is pointed out that tho soldiers receive their pay and all necessary comforts, and that there is little need for additional cash.
