Mr D, C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, supplied' the following weather eummary for tlie past 2*t hours: — Upsettk-d Rnd cloudy weather —is prevailed, ;„d rain lias fallen generally, but conditions' have improved somewhat to-day. Moderate to etrong northerly and westerly winds have- predominated, with decreasing barometric pressure. Present, "indications ar© tor moderate to strong north-westerly to south-weeterly winds, with chang—.We. and showery conditions in many parts of tho country. Tho barometer will be un*tcady, rising t-cmporrarily in the south, hut probably falling a-j-m soon.
