There was a packed house at the concert "iven in the Hibernian Hall last night in aid of Mr L. J. Corbett, a member of tho executive of the Canterbury Rugby Union, who has been seriously ill for somo time vast-. Mr T. B. Riordan's orchestral party opened tho concert, items following by Misses O'Connor, Olga AVacked, Anderson. Mrs Baxter, Messrs Toon. Timras, Frank Macdonald. AA'aluer, Reeves, C. Fotherell, and Taylor.
