There was a strong attendance i of buyers, but not a sing c bid was recorded. During the week th? brokers ascertained that the. freightage available wa_ 49.000 bales. Seders to-day intimated that regular terms jvould prevail. \Vh_n every lot was called tho buyers remained dumb. * '* (Received May 4ih. 1.40 a.m.) Tho wool buyers' action indicates that they require geiieial provisions governing auctions, with a proviso that v the Government oouimandecis oversea tomiatie, depriving buyers of prearranged space, that an extended term for payment be granted with free store and interest charges.
