THE BOMBARDING GUNS.
ATTACKED BY BRITISH AIRCRAFT. The High Commissioner reports:— ■LONDON, May 1. The Admiralty state that the position of the German, guns bombarding Dunkirk was attacked by naral aircraft on Friday evening, when fourteen bombs were dropped on £he enemy. An air-craft reconnaissance was made at Ostend. which -was found to be clear of all important craft. A Taube appeared 10,000 feet up and three miles off, but retired on being chased by our naral aeroplanes.
