MESSAGE TO SECRETARY OF STATE. (press association- telegb.au.) WELLINGTON, May 1. The Governor has forwarded tho following telegram to the secretary of State for the Colonies: — •'1 desire, on behalf of my Government and the people of New Zealand, to thank His Majesty's Government for their kind congratulations contained in your telegram of April :28th. This tolegram lias been published m the newspapers, and also the one sent by his Maiesty tho King to mo on April •29\h. In vjew of the fact that these telegrams have- been made public, I would be grateful if you would semi mc tuither particulars, a> a great many anxious enquiries have been mado for details. , " (Signed) Liverpool. The Prime Minister (the Hon. W. F. Massoy) has been advised by his Excellency that Tip to tho present ho has not "received any further details.
