CANTERBURY RUGBY LEAGUE.
Tho meeting of the Management Committee.of the Canterbury Rugby League was hold on Saturday ovening, the following delegates being present:—Messrs R. J. Stirling (chairman), F. Moore, H. Falgar, l>. Buchanan, P. Ayling, A. Morris, J. Underwood, W J. Mitchell. V. Boou, A. R. Brunsden. H. Boyws. R. Walker, T. B. Pike, J. Mullaney, A. E. Hooper, and W. Moyle. A letter was received from the Tramway Board stating that tram-car accommodation would bo provided as required to tho Show Grounds. A report regarding the insurance of players was considered, and it was decided to hold a special meeting to deal with tho question. The Addingtou Club asked that owing to the absenco of some of their players, their fixture against Northern Suburbs be played later in the 'season. It -was decided that if the game had any effect on tho premiership to play tho gamo at the end of tho season. It was decided that all clubs should forward a complete list of players to the committee by Saturday next. Mr Stirling notified tfiat owing; to pressuro of business he would he unable to continue the duties of chairman, and Mr Hooper was asked to accept the position, Mr Stirling's resignation boms; accepted with regrot. The following are tho fixtures, grounds, arid referees for Saturday, May Bth:— Seniors.—Aldington v. Sydenham, Show Grounds Oral (Mr l>. McGregor): Linwood v. Northern Suburbs, No. 2 Show Grounds (Mr Voyce),,
Juniors.—Linwood -v. Northern Suburbs, St. Albans Park (Mr Stevens) ; Sydenham v. Hornby, at Hornby (llr Pearce). ■
Vice-President's Cim. —Federal v. Limvood, Linwood Park (Mr Auld); Aldington v. Sydenham, South Park (Mr Geary).
