• The annual meeting , of the New Zealand Methodist Local Preachers' Aid Association wne held yesterday. Tho president (Mt J. V 093) presided, and there were present delepratee from Dunedin. Asbburton. and Cbristclmrch. The secretary (Mr -G. T. M. Priest), owing to itidispoaition, ".vae unab'.e to bs present, and a letter of sympathy was ordered to be sent to him: also to Mr S. S. Chapman, of Willowby. who was absent owing , to indiepositicm. TJie following" officers were elected:— Pres ; der.t, Mr G. Vose: yice<T>reeident. Mr G. V. Simon: secretary, Mr IT. L. ■Williams: tiownirer, Mr G. "W. Andrews. The brandies represented were stated to be in n flourishing condition, and roch reported an ■ increase of mem'oerebip.
