SERIOUS FAMILY QUARREL.
(PEJGSS ASSOCIATION TBLECBAM.) WELLINGTON, March 3. A yonng' woman named Ellen Sulliran, was charged in tho Magistrate's Conft to-day with assaulting hor mother, Mary McOully, so as to cause actual bodily harm.
Tho caso aroso out of a- quarrel between tho mother and daughter, when it is allc"od Sullivan inflicted a -wound with a knife in tho back of her mother's • neck. Mrs McCully, 78 years of ago. is in tho hospital suffering from shock and loss of Wood. Hor condition is not ecrious. Tho accused was remanded for a week.
