ELLESMERE LICENSING COMMITTEE.
At the quarterly meeting of the Ellesmero Licening Committee there were present: Messrs T. A. B. Bailey, S.M. (chairman); Latter, Parkinson, Hubbard, Armstrong and Paterson. Tho transfer of the license of the Hilltop Hotel from AY. Newton to W. W. Coombs, was granted, as was a conditional licenso for the Akaroa County races.
The Clerk was instructed to notify all licensees that their houses must be furnished with proper iron firo eiscapes before the annual meeting.
