Mr Holmnn stated that tho Government is prepared to arrange temporary shelter for Belgians or their permanent immigration.
The iirst cargo of moat lor the Imperial authorities is being despatched this month. Thereafter consignments will follow as rapidly as possible.
Mr Cann statoe that the prices at which the moat has been f-ecurcd are below London parity, «md lower than the prices in Victoria and Queensland. Ho does not anticipate any interference with the increase of prices in the local market. -The "Women's Liberal League has presented five more field kitchens to tho Expeditionary Forces.
