BALMORAL.
'The crops in this district are turning out well. Mr David Mackintosh threshed on Mr D. Dwyer's farm, six thousand bushels of oats in two and a half days. The average was above expectations.
OHOKA. A party of four women were driving along Jackson's road, when one of the wheels of the buggy came off, causing tho horse to bolt. Three of the occupants were thrown out, but escaped unhurt. Mrs Forrest-, who was driving, retained her seat and the reins, and managed to pull the horse up before it had covered more than a few chains.
