THE FORMIDABLE
VICTIM OF A SUBMARINE
LONDON, January 7
Lord Crewe, in reply to Lord Selbornc, said that the Admiralty's definite opinion was that the Formidable had been struck by two torpedoes from a submarine. The captain of the Formidable signalled to another -.hip to keep off, because be believed that a submarine was in tho vicinity.
