'The Queen, -which sailed from Auck* land on the 13th insfc., brings 'vs'news of tho prorogation of tho General Assembly on that day, and also of thfl Canterbury Railways Bill, north and south, and the Bill to amend tho Waste Land Regulations of tho Province"of Canterbury. Tho latter Bill has had one or two ninendmonis introduced into it, but practically it is the same as that recommended by the Provincial' Couuoil."
