Reserved seats may be secured at the Dresden, and day sales at tho Tor Cavo. THEATRE ROYAL. "The Sileuce of Dean Maitland" is a story that is familiar in every household. It is a pathetic and impressive , story and, of course, it was inevitable} that it should ultimately find its way on to tho picture screen. It will be. produced at the Theatro Royal, Christchurch, on Boxing night, and the four following' nights, under tho direction of Mr Charles MacMahon. Tho picture line just scored an emphatic success in Wellington and Auckland, whero I/t ran to largo houses for 40 and 36 ' consecutive presentations. Following this Mr MacMahon will produce Georgo JR. Sims's celebrated drama "The I Lights o' London." as a photo-play. Both these pictures are extensive, ami will be shown in Christchurch only at the Theatro Royal. There will bo a strong supporting programme witheacu picture.
