HAYWARD'S. PICTURES.
A powerful dramatic film with the clever young actress Mary Pickford in the title role. ••'Toss of tho" Storm Country," proved the principal attraction in the weekly change of programme of Hayward's Pictures at His Majesty's ; Theatre last night. Tho story is one of ! engrossing interest, with ;v love story : interwoven, helping to tone down many j tragic mc: lents. The strong emotional acting of Miss Pickford in the piece was mucti admired. "'Our "War Special" was Pull of interesting glimpsee of scenes at the front, depicting German troops at Brussels and Maubeuge, tho wreckage at Louvain. and the Allies retreating through Ostend from Antwerp. "The Ganinont Graphic" also included some interesting pictorial titbits in connexion with the war. An I amusing comedy picture was entitled j"A Midsummer Love Tangle."
