I LONDON, November 28. j The Earl of Cavan, commanding the Fourth (Guards) Brigade, in an army order pays a tribute to the Coldstreame for keeping their lines intact for four wpeks, though the trenches were dug in 'a hill full of natural spring*., and the water was constantly abovo the men's kneee. A gale swept away every particle of cover, and when the Germans threw hand-grenades, the Coldstreams picked up thoso that had not exploded and hurled them back.
