The Assembly carried the Treasurer's motion dissenting from the Speaker's ruling against the insertion of an ■ amendmeut in the Co-operative Sugar [Company's Bill. The Speaker thereupon left the I House, and the Leader of the Opon-*i--1 tion gave notice of a want of confidence motion in the Government, which •will be taken on Monday.
