The chairman of tho Bank of New South Wales, referring to the effocfe of tho drought, said that the bank s business was so well spread that such conditions did not involve more than a temporary setback. To clients engaged in tho wheat industry, the bank was ready to afford financial aid to enable them to meet and retrieve the situation. TATTERSALL'S HORSE SALE. Messrs H. Matson and Co. had an entry of 55 horses on Saturday.
