WOMEN'S COMMITTEE FORMED.
A meeting in connexion with the Poor of Croat Britain, Ireland, and Belgium Relief Fnnd was held in tho, A and P. Association's rooms yesterday afternoon, about 5U women.being present.
Dr. Levmge explained that the meeting had: been called for the purpose of forming a women's committee to tako in hand the organisation of tho clothing part of the fuad.
On the motion of Mrs F. H. Pyne, seconded by Mrs Beauchamp Lane, it was resolved. —•'That it is desirable to co-operate in tho movement of providing clothing, etc., for the Poor of Great Britain, Ireland, and Belgium Relief Fund, and in other ways, and that a committee bo set up for that purpose."
On the motion of the chairman, the following were elected to tho General Committee:—Mesdames Holland, Wigram, Pyne, Boyle, Allen, Stewart, Lane, ■ Moore, Ballin, Dalgety, Smith, Clark, Smithson, Nairn. Pratt. Gould, Misses Tabart and Smith, and Sister Edith, with power to add to their lumber.
A vote of thanks was passed to Dr. Levinge, who then left fhe chair. On the motion of Mrs Wiqxam. secoi'.ded by Mrs Boyle, Mrs Beauchamp Lane was appointed to tbo chair. Mrs Pratt was elected hon. secret tary; and the meeting then went into committee to discusi the general organisation and appointment of subcommittees.
Now and old clothing material will bo received by the following, as well as at tho. depots advertised: —Mesdames B. Lane, A. Boyle, F. H. Pyne. H. Wigram, W. Moore, G. Gould, It. Allen, C. Dalgety. Sister Edith, and Miss R. Tabart. Donations may bo sent to Mrs F. Pratt, 177 Bealey avenue, who will be very pleased to give any information required.
