REPORTED ATTACK ON WIRELd&S STATION. FIRING OFF THE AMERICAN COAST. ■ (Received. August 7th, 12.30 a.m.) OTTAWA, August 6. It is reported that German warships are shelling tho wireless station at Glaeo Bay, Nova Scotia. A crowd toro down the insignia oatside the German Consulate it Vancouver and trampled on it. r Anti-German demonstrations" aro taking place throughout the Dominion. The Admiralty informs ports that two German cruisers are operating in the North Pacific, and aro making for tho coasts of America. British cruisers report capturing the German eteamer Willhad, off the Newfoundland coast. Heavy fixing was heard off tho Maino coast. It is bolieved a naval engagement is proceeding, bufc details are unknown. (Received August 7th, 1 a.m.) OTTAWA, August 5. Tho Canadian Government has purchased two submarines built at Seattle for tho Chilian Government.
