CHRISTCHURCH DOMAIN RATING AREA.
Mr Witty Government to appoint a Commission to reconsider the rating area fixed under the Christchurch Domains Act, 1913, and to consider the advisability of the application to tho area of a scheme of differential rating. Some of the local bodies who are compelled to contribute have, Mr Witty says, to maintain their own domains,* and should not have to pay the same rate as the City of Christchurch.
