The sales at Horsham aro held by -Messrs lounrr Bros., and this year tt_ place on Ist. 3nd. 3rd. and 4th or ti-.i' month. The catalogue was lighter tlurn ■usual this year, but there was a big Attendance, including buvore from We.tern Australia, South Australia, and all parts of Viotoria. The mares' market was topped with 1 .ogns, at which price Jean, five times a champion at the Melbourne Boval Show, was sold. Sho was bought by Mr E. A. Dahlenburg. of Pimpinio. near Horsham, and a brother of tho Waikouro breeder. Messrs Campbell and Sons' ca tatof their annual sale, wmcb is proceeding this week, is to hand, and 119 stallions and colts and 144 marea are entered to be sold. This number is slight- ]• less than tho last two years, but that is accounted for by the shortage in shipments from New Zealand. Amongst the names of shippers trom tnn Dominion who have horse* entered this week are: Messrs W. Abraham, J W. Blair, J. S. Boag. A. Chrystal, J. Grant. Kennedy and Walter. J. R. McKenzie, Mitchell and O'Brien, Mr» J. D. Ormond. and P. Small.
