Clemcntson, £2 8s Gd; 6amo v. B. Misscn. £1 2s. A HIRE-PURCHASE CASE. Booth. Macdonald and Co., Ltd. (Mr Wilding) claimed from Wilfred Lai.gdowu (Mr Hunt) tho sum of £27. for balance of instalment due on a machine. Mr Wilding said that tho machinery had been returned to plaintiffs'. G. M. Hall, a director of tho plaintiff firm, said he had conducted tho transactions with defendants. Tho goods were delivered on May 2nd, and returned on Decomber oth. To Mr Hunt: The machino was returned a few days before an instalment was due. Tho instalment was duo on December 20th. Tlio charge made was not for tho instalment, but for a proportion of hire. Mr Hunt contended that tho charge I made by plaintiffs was excessive j ' Judgment was given for £.0 Os and costs.
