PLANS SOLD.
A TRAITOR'S PUNISHMENT. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Cppyright.) BERLIN, July 14. A court-martial sentenced Sergeant Pohl to fifteen years' penal servitude aud ton years' deprivation of civil and military rights, and dismissal from tho Army, for -oiling plans of tho fortresses at Konigsberg. ' (Received July 15th, 11.20 p.m.) BERLIN, July 15. Pohl, who received a salary of £84 per annum, was employed as a clerk at the headquarters of the military engineer, and thus had access to the plans. Desiring money with a view to marrying, he sold tho plans of tho Pillau and Boyen fortresses to Colonel Basarbff, for £25. Basaroff asked tor plans of the fortifications at Heligoland, and Borkum. Pohl secured sketches of them, and arranged a meeting, but was arrested at the interview. •
