At the inquest on Sir Denis Anson and Mitchell. Miss Iris Tree and others testified that all Were perfectly sober. Anson had exhibited a youthful vivacity and, whilo larking about, climbed upon arid walked along tho awning rail, tho captain compelling him to descend. Anson then mounted a seat, and. diving into tho water, swam towards tho shore. Suddenly he' was heard shouting: "Quickly, quickly I" and Mitchell dived in to his rescue, but disappeared. There was a strong current at tho time. Tho jury wes\ satisfied that Anson was sober. ■ ■ Tho party aboard included Lady Diana . Manners and • Miss Nancy Cunard.
