WELLINGTON, July & Albert Liddie, aged 46, the son of Mr John Liddie, a voll-known theatrical manager of a quarter of a century ago, and brother-in-law of tho Hon. W. ritb (Sydney) has committed suicide. He was found in his office this morning vith a bullet wound through his head and a roi'olrer tied to his hand. Hβ was last seen on Monday night, when ho appeared in good health and spirits. lie acted as fnperintending andiitoct oa tho new Grand Opera iiouso . WANGANUI, July 8. . A man, named McGowan, aged sixty-five years, was killed at Waitotera. yesterday by a fall of earth in a gravel pit.
