SYDENHAM BAND OF HOPE.
The monthly meeting of the Sydenham United Band of Hope waa held in St. Saviour's Hall on Monday evening. Rev. A. N. Scotter presided, and guvo an interesting address. The following contributed to a good programme:—Piano eolos, Mieeee V. Sirett, Olive Heath, and W. Cooper; vocal eolos, Misses Rita Bray, Irpne Duncan, and Maeter Eric- Billene; , vocal duet, Mie&ee D. and V. Gordon; recitations, Mieses Nitft Manhire, May Belehaw, E. and IT. Cox, V. Columbus, M. Bullen, and Gladys-Ellis; dialogue, "Is Cider Harmless?" Mine L. and Maeter J. Southam. iN'ine pledgee were takea. '
