DOYLESTON.
At ,the Doyleston School on Friday afternoon, Miss Cavell, a member of tho teaching staff, who is leaving to take up a position in the North Island, was presented by the (scholars with a suit case, and by tho committee with a travelling rug. Mr Irwin, the headmaster, made the presentation on behalf of tho. children, and Mr Strong that on behalf of the committee. Reference was made to the good feeling existing between the teacher, scholars, and residents of Doyleston generally.
