PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention, of the Sumner Borough Council, at a special meeting to be held on the 2Stb day of July, 1914, at .6.45 o'clock p.m., in the Borough Council Chambers, Sumner, to make and levy the following rates upon the rateable valuation of all rateable' properties appearing- on the Valuation Roll now in force'for the Borough - of Sumner for the period commencing on the Ist day df-April. 191 J. and ending on the> 81st day of March, 1915: — 1. A General Rate of threepence in the pound sterling on. the- unimproved value of all rateable properties in the Borough of | guroner., 0. A Hospital and Charitable" Institutions "Rate of five-thirty-tcconds (5-32nda1 of a penny in the pound sterling on value of all rateable • proper tics in the Borough of Bumper.* 3. A Water Rate- for ordinary supply made osder section 83 of "The Municipal Cor- \ poration3 Act, 1908," and "The Rating Act, | 1908," ac follows:— ] £») Upon all lands and buildings to which water as supplied, where the annual rateable value on the Valuation Roll does not ezc-eed £12 10s, a .rate of t«sn shillings.
