Regarding the suggested training; of detachments of New Zealand naval cadots in the Commonwealth College, Senator Millen says thai tho question needs careful consideration. Possibly tho authorities will not bo ablo to take any this year, but will ho in a position to tako a limited number at a subsequent period. Senator Millen i-aid ho dosired to help New Zealand as much as possible ia this respect, but under tho existing arrangements, what he wished to do might, provo too groat a tax upon the institution. The eollego authorities were enquiring into tho details, and would probably furnish a report on the practicability of the scheme.
