BEER AND LAND REQUIRED.

Tho church choir at Jcbesee stnicj. becauso tho Municipal Council intended discontinuing tho ancient custom of granting the choir 400 litres of beer and four pieces of land annually. Tbo Council decided to again grant the beer, but refused to grant the land.. so the strike continues.
