REFORM PROSPECTS IN THE SOUTH.
(SPECIAL TO "THE TRESS.") WELLINGTON, June 8. Asked on his return from tho. South Island yesterday as to the outlook of the Reform party, Mr Massey said: "There is no question about .it—the outlook for the Reform party in tho South Island was never co good as it is at the present moment. Whatever the result of the election may be. I am absolutely satisfied that we will iin£rove o.ur position in the South sland."
