TUG-OF-WAR CONTEST.
ANOTHER WIN FOR TEAIT.
A tug-of-war between Hornibrook's team which won the New Zealand Championship at Dunodjn, and Be ban's West Coast team, was held at the Alexandra Hall last evening. The contest was for fSO aside, beat two out of three pulls, pull to I&et 10 minutes. Hornibrook'e team won tho first puli comfortably, and _*eba.n'e team then withdrew. The winning team was:^—C. PrW, J. >'nr, L. Alkinjon, E. £soroagh, J. FinglaiuvsM. Hogm, and A. Thorpe.
